Try OnGravy →Intra-state vs inter-state — the one rule that trips people up
GST splits into CGST + SGST when the seller and the buyer's place of supply are in the same state, and into a single IGST when they're in different states. This tool detects it from the two state fields and applies the right split automatically — so an ₹18% item shows 9% + 9% within a state, or 18% IGST across states.
What a valid tax invoice must contain
Supplier name, address & GSTIN · a consecutive invoice number and date · recipient details · HSN/SAC codes · taxable value · GST rate and amount (CGST/SGST or IGST) · and the total. This generator captures each of them.

Yes. If the seller and the place of supply are in the same state, it applies CGST + SGST (half each). If they differ, it applies IGST. That is exactly the intra-state vs inter-state rule under GST.
A tax invoice needs the supplier name, address and GSTIN, a unique invoice number and date, the customer details, HSN/SAC codes, taxable value, the GST rate and amount (CGST/SGST or IGST), and the total. This tool includes all of those fields.
