Import runs in minutes — you cut over when you're ready
Bring a Tally backup file. The automated import — masters, ledgers, vouchers, opening balances into a sandbox business — takes only a few minutes; the rest is you reviewing the diff and choosing when to cut over, at your own pace. Your real books are untouched until you do.
- Export your Tally backup. In Tally: Gateway → F3 → Company Info → Backup. You get a .001 / .DAT file.
- Upload to OnGravy migration. Settings → Restore from backup → Upload the Tally backup. We parse masters, vouchers, opening balances.
- Review the diff. We show every imported voucher with its Tally source line. You approve or reject before posting.
- Test on a sandbox business. Migration lands in a SANDBOX business first. Your real books are untouched until you flip the switch.
- Cutover (when you’re ready). One click to make the sandbox your primary. Tally backup file stays on your machine as fallback.
